The seventh grade team played great team basketball at the Inter-Valley League tournament, Dec. 16-18. They beat Syringa the first night of play, 23-16.
Emmett advanced to play Nampa South the next night. This proved to be a very tough game, but Emmett squeaked by 19-18.
The championship night, Emmett played Vallivue, easily defeating them 38-23. Emmett's tough defense and great offensive play left Vallivue stunned as Emmett let them know who was the best seventh-grade team in the league.
They finished the season undefeated with a 13-0 record. Great season, ladies!
