Ms. Marjorie Armstrong, 62, formerly of Plumblee Nursing Center, Plymouth, and 1515 W. Pettigrew St., Durham, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at Durham Regional Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lily of the Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul L. Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong family cemetery.
Ms. Armstrong was born in Washington County on Oct. 19, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Esau Armstrong and Malethia Baker Armstrong. She was a member of Lily of the Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Sabrina Williams of Raleigh; one brother, Venerable Armstrong of Granda, Fla.; four sisters, Ruth Jordan of Queens, N.Y., Maxine Hooker of Brooklyn, N.Y., Malethia Faye Armstrong of Laurel, Md., and Delores Armstrong of Raleigh; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Lily of the Valley Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Robanna Patrick, 68 White Oak Loop Road, Plymouth.
Arrangements are by Toodle's Funeral Home, Plymouth.
