Mr. Gerald H. Arbogast, 55, of Chocowinity, died Monday, March 24, 2003.
A funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Arbogast was born in Elkins, W. Va., the son of Leona Davis Pingley of Mill Creek, W. Va. He served in the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He lived in Galax, Va. for a number of years prior to moving to Beaufort County in 1981. He had worked as a supervisor at Singer Furniture Company in Chocowinity, and for the past five years had worked with his son in automotive paint and body work. He was a member of Chocowinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Timothy M. Arbogast, of Grimesland; one daughter, Cynthia B. Arbogast, of the home; two grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Arbogast of Roanoke, Va.; and three sisters, Pattie A. Hammerlink of Orlando, Fla., Carolyn A. Higgins of Elkins, W. Va., and Joyce A. King of Fredericksburg, Va.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Arbogast, 7510 Pitt St., Grimesland.
