Mr. Ronnie Michael "Mike" Bryant, 60, of 310 Sterlingworth St., Windsor, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Cashie Baptist Church with the Revs. Dennis Conner and Harold DeLong officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant was born in South Norfolk, Va. on Sept. 9, 1947. He was the son of the late Donnie C. and Katherine Farmer Bryant. He was married to Jill Felton Bryant, who survives. He was the owner of Bryant's Welding and Machine Shop. He was a member of Cashie Cook Club, the Veterans Club, Charity Lodge No. 5 and a former member of the Lion's Club. He was a former member of the Askewville Fire Department. He served on the Windsor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and attended Cashie Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie Bryant of Windsor and Michael Bryant of New Bern; one stepson, Kevin Griffith of Franklin, Va.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
