Mr. William Earl House, 75, of Bethel, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. House was born Sept. 24, 1931, the son of the late William Clayton House and Catherine James House. He graduated from Bethel High School and attended N.C. State University. He was married to Barbara Clark House, who preceded him in death. He later married Mary Mills House, who survives. He was involved in farming until his retirement on Dec. 31, 2000.
Survivors include three daughters, Allison Harrington of Bethel, Jean Waters of New Bern, and Kathryn Fanning of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Dr. Michael House of Ayden; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6:30-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Bethel, and other times at 7676 N. Main St., Bethel.
