BELL ARTHUR — Mrs. Evelyn Louise Dail Webb, age 78, of 2643 Fire House Road died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Arthur Christian Church in Bell Arthur by Rev. Keith Phillips and Rev. Devon Huss. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenville. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 9:30 until 11 a.m.
Mrs. Webb was a member of Arthur Christian Church and of the Bell Arthur Senior Sisters. She was also a retired Post Master with the U.S. Postal System.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Webb, the first Fire Chief of the Bell Arthur Fire Department; five brothers, Wilton Dail, Walter Dail, Arthur Dail, Jennings Dail and Bill Dail; and two sisters, Daisy Tripp and Hettie Ruth Johnson.
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Craft and husband, Charles “Billy” of Farmville and Evelyn Wilson and husband, Joey of Elkin; two sons, Mark Webb and wife, Gail of Bell Arthur and Ray Webb and wife, Linda of Blounts Creek; two sisters, Mildred Humbles of Ayden and Beatrice Ennis of Farmville; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
