Mr. Louis Godley of 912 Hayes St., Norfolk, Va., died Friday, March 16, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Herbert Godley officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Godley was born March 4, 1935, the son of the late Joe G. and Ethel Howard Godley. He attended the Beaufort County Schools.
Survivors include one sister, Ethel Keys of Washington; one brother, Fenner Godley of Greenville and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Godley; one son, Louis Godley Jr.; three sisters, Frances Godley, Josephine Smallwood and Annie Mae Warren and two brothers, Richard Godley and George Godley.
The family will receive friends today from 4-8 p.m. at Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. The family will also receive friends at the home of Ethel Godley Wooten, 121 Red Oak Drive, Washington.
