Mr. John W. Harris, 69, of 297 Mile Road, Vanceboro, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Queen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Vanceboro, with Elder Ethel Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris family cemetery, Vanceboro.
Mr. Harris was married to Elsie B. Harris, who survives.
Survivors include one son, Milton T. Harris; five sisters, Marie H. Wise, Joyce H. Moore, Lovie H. Strickland, Gloria H. Gardner and Barbara H. Brown, all of Vanceboro; three brothers, Emanuel Harris, Robert E. Harris and Roy H. Harris, all of Vanceboro; and two grandchildren.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Tri-County Funeral Service Professionals, Inc., Ayden.
