Mr. Timothy Wayne “Rusty” Carson, 59, of 665 Flanders Filter Road, Washington, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at his home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakdale Cemetery and will be conducted by Rev. Cliff Britton. Jerry Somers, Greg Latham, Charles Slade, Donnie Woolard, Steve Somers and Buddy Brooks will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Carson was born in Beaufort County on Nov. 15, 1947 to the late Jack and Norma Jefferson Carson and on May 28, 1998 he married Gloria Wilson who survives. Rusty was a graduate of Washington High School, was employed with Jerry’s Automotive and TWS and he enjoyed camping, boating and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Gloria, of the home; two sons, Timothy Wayne Carson Jr. and Timothy Wayne Toler; two daughters, Tammy Renee Toler and Tracy Dawn Mayo all of Washington; one brother, John Alton Carson of Washington; one sister, Wanda Faye Carson of Chocowinity and seven grandchildren.
The family received friends Monday at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home located at 665 Flanders Filter Rd. Washington.
