Mrs. Cora Lee Gibbs, 104, of New Jersey, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at East Orange General Hospital in New Jersey.
A funeral will be conducted today at 1 p.m. in Star of Zion Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Harris Cemetery, Fairfield.
Mrs. Gibbs was born in Hyde County on March 12, 1903. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora H. Salder.
Survivors include one son, Caleb Gibbs Jr. of Fairfield; six daughters, Mary E. Simpson and Marie Dunbar, both of Columbia, Earleen Halsey of Boston, Mass., Isabelle Spencer and Jane Gibbs, both of East Orange, N.J., and Dorothy Barber of Virginia Beach, Va.; 37 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 75 great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
