Mrs. Callie Mae Roberson Boyd, age 82, of 2658 Terrapin Track Rd., Washington died Tuesday, May 29, 2007.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be officiated by Pastor Phillip Jethro.
Mrs. Boyd was born in Beaufort Co. on August 19, 1924 to the late Charlie and Sallie Alligood Roberson and on January 23, 1948 she married Acie Alton Boyd who preceded her in death on July 4, 2002. She was a member of the Alligood Church of God and was a door greeter at Wal-Mart, a job that she really enjoyed doing.
Survivors include one son, Michael Boyd and his wife Cathy of Washington; three grandchildren, Michael D. Boyd and wife Wendy of Plymouth, Chadwick Boyd and Matthew Boyd, both of Washington and two great grandchildren, Gavin and Gracie Boyd of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by one brother, Orville Roberson; her twin sister, Allie Gray Dixon and her older sister, Irma Lea Woolard.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Boyd’s son, Michael Boyd, 2690 Terrapin Track Rd., Washington, NC 27889.
