Mrs. Juanita Taffer Davis, 65, of Plymouth, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in Plymouth Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Steve Creech and Edgar Masencup officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Davis was born in Harlan, Ky., on Aug. 3, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Delmar and Gladys Westfall Taffer. She was married to Grayson L. Davis, who survives. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy W. Davis of Jamesville; one sister, Nillie T. Laudig of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Carl W. Taffer of Jamesville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jacky R. Davis and two brothers, Jack Taffer and Edward Taffer.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Plymouth Church of the Nazarene and other times at the home.
