Mr.Wayne Thomas Millard, 53, of Halls Creek Road, Elizabeth City, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the home of his father.
Mr. Millard was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was the son of retired Navy Cmdr. George Wayne Millard and the late Mary Catherine Gaughan Millard. He was master pressman and was a graduate of Peary High School in Rockville, Md., and attended Montgomery County Community College.
Surviving is his father, retired Navy Cmdr. George Wayne Millard, of Belhaven; four sisters, Kathryn Mary Winberry of Hubert and Linda Marie Ferrell, Elizabeth Ann Hughes and Carol Eileen McEwen, all of Norfolk, Va.; and one brother; Michael Patrick Millard of Front Royal, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contribution be directed to: The Marion L. Sheppard Cancer Center, 628 East 12th Street, Washington, NC 27889.
