Ms. Trudy Johnice Rodgers Boozer, 43, of 1703 Davenport Forks Dr., Creswell, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James H. Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Boozer was born in Washington County on Sept. 2, 1963. She was the daughter of Mae Cola Davenport Rodgers and the late Louis M. Rodgers. She had been employed as program director with Fannie Mae.
Survivors include one son, Tommie Boozer of Creswell; five brothers, Wayne Rodgers of Creswell, Gary M. Rodgers of Charlotte, Gregory Rodgers of Williamston, Timothy Rodgers of Newport News, Va., and Iruing Rodgers of New Jersey; and six sisters, Angela Jones of Virginia Beach, Va., Ruth McDowell of Knightdale, Melissa Rodgers of Windsor, Valerie Dunn of Cary, Mary Rodgers of Raleigh and Sarah Spruill of Wendell.
