Mrs. Yvonne Cardoze Fraley, age 81, of 664 Black Rd. Washington died Tuesday September 18, 2007 at Britthaven of Washington.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday September 21, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington with Pastor David Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Fraley was born in the Dutch West Indies, Curacao Island on March 11, 1926, daughter of the late Dario Secundino Cardoze and the late Sila Catarina Henriquez Cardoze. On September 29, 1944, she married Freelen Leroy Fraley Sr. who preceded her in death on November 3, 1991.
Surviving Mrs. Fraley are 3 sons: Freelen Fraley Jr. and wife Barbara of Pollocksville, Michael Fraley and wife Debra of Chocowinity, Timothy Fraley and friend Elizabeth Williford of Blounts Creek, 1 sister: Vivienne Hoogenbergen of Caracas, Venezuela, 6 grandchildren: DeDe Jefferson, Dawn Jones, Crystal Fraley, David Fraley, Betty Yvonne Fraley, Alexis Fraley and three great grandchildren: Megan Jones, Aubrey Jones and Caylee Jones.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home 664 Black Rd. Washington.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Marion L. Shepard Oncology Center, 628 E. 12th St. Washington, NC 27889.
