Mr. Charlie Frederick Bierman, age 86, a resident of 50 Riverside Road, Apt. 108, Washington, died Wednesday morning September 19, 2007.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday September 22, 2007 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by the Rev. Danny Allen.
Mr. Bierman was born September 4, 1921, son of the late Frederick Bierman and Nellie Wallace Bierman. He married the former Eva Kennedy.
In addition to his wife, Eva, of the home, he is survived by his children: Janice Campbell of Sanford, Michael Bierman of Raleigh and Christina Piccolo of Las Vegas, Nev.; his grandchildren: Melissa Campbell of Sanford, Jennifer Villa of Fayetteville, Hayes Grantham Bierman and Wiley Rivers Bierman both of Raleigh; his great-grandson: Jason Villa of Fayetteville and his sisters: Virginia Berretta of Long Island, N.Y. and Ruby Adams of Florida.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Paul Funeral Home in Washington and other times at the home located at 50 Riverside Road, Apt. 108, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Christian Carpenters, First United Methodist Church, 304 West 2nd Street, Washington, NC 27889 or Bunyan Ruritan Club.
