Mr. Charles Lee Wilson, 57, of Manteo, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ronnie Midgett officiating.
Mr. Wilson was born in Currituck County, son of the late Willis L. and Gladys Berry Wilson. He was a lifelong resident of Dare County. He was married to Susan Hall Wilson, who survives. He was a commercial fisherman. He was a member of Roanoke Acres Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Charles L. “Chuck” Wilson Jr. of Manteo; four sisters, Betty Groce and Nancy Powell, both of Manteo, Ginger Reber of Wanchese, and Lisa Moseley of Waverly, Va.; and three brothers, Joe Wilson of Wanchese, Dave Wilson of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Mikey Wilson of Manteo.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Wilson.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, and other times at the home.
