Mrs. Margaret Peele Bazemore, 93, of Windsor, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, in Williamston Rehab Center in Williamston.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor.
Mrs. Bazemore was born in Lewiston on May 22, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Lina Hoggard Peele. She was married to Dalmus Bazemore, who preceded her in death. She was a resident of Bertie County for 40 years. She was a retired school teacher with the Bertie County School System. She was a member of Cashie Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Alease B. Bunch of Richmond, Va.; and one sister, Lina Joe Holcomb of Bellville, Ill.
The family will receive friends Monday at Walker Funeral Home in Windsor one hour prior to the graveside service.
