Mr. Ronnie Lee Godard, 54, of 2085 Price Road, Williamston, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Revs. Dallas Gurganus and Johnny Barber officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Godard was born in Norfolk, Va., on Jan. 7, 1953. He was the son of the late Wilton and Sarah Hardison Godard. He was a brick mason. On Oct. 29, 1983, he married Betty Cherry Godard, who survives. He was a member of Jamesville Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Patty Smith of Washington; one son, Travis Jackson of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Doug Godard of Robersonville, and Sam Godard of Jamesville; three sisters, Sharon Furlough of Plymouth, Gwen Forehand of Wake Forest and Dolly Fisher of Bear Grass and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
