Leslie Webb Jefferson, 89, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 14, 2007 at her home.
She was born September 18, 1918 to David and Carrie Webb . Leslie retired after many years of service at the Fountain Post Office. She was a member of Fountain Baptist Church where she served in many capacities.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday , October 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Fountain Baptist Church, with burial will follow in Queen Anne Cemetery, Fountain, N. C.
Leslie was preceded in death by her husband, of 63 years, R. D. Jefferson
She is survived by her loving family; sons, Don Jefferson and special friend, Elaine Guthrie of Chocowinity, Fred Jefferson of Acworth, Ga.; grandsons, Neil Jefferson, Benson, N. C., Darrell Jefferson, Grimesland, N.C., Eric Jefferson, Acworth, Ga., granddaughter, Dara Jefferson, Grimesland, N. C., great grandchildren, Tunstall and Tanner and sister, Edna Eason, Macclesfield
Family will receive friends at Fountain Baptist Church Wednesday from 1-2 P.M. and also Tuesday from 5- 9 P. M. at the home, N. C. Hwy 222, Fountain, N. C.
