Ms. Julia Braswell Jones, 26, of 2203 Crooked Creek Road, Greenville, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with the Rev. David Langley officiating.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Hillside Funeral Service and other times at her home.
Julia was born June 9, 1981 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of David Paul and Cheryl Clayton Braswell. She was a graduate of Northside High School. Julia was a homemaker and a member of the March of Dimes (Greenville Chapter), where she served many hours. She had lived in Pitt County approximately five years.
Survivors include her fianc/, Derrick C. Smith of Greenville; her son, Lance Hayden Smith of the home; her parents, David and Cheryl Braswell of Bath; her paternal grandfather, George Braswell and his wife, Jeanette of Washington; one brother, Eric Paul Braswell and wife, Stephanie of Beaufort; one niece, Ashton Rae Braswell and one nephew, Travis Paul Braswell.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Faye Braswell.
