Ms. Terry Kay Everett, age 52, a resident of 585 Everett Road, Washington, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2007 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Cleve Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Preston Cutler, Jr., Charlie Vernon Cutler, Jerry Everett, Jr., Jonathan Brooks, Jason Brooks, Scotty Rose, Kevin Medlock and Derrick Gibbs will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. this evening at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East and other times at the home of her mother, Betty Everett, 573 Everett Road, Washington.
Terry was born October 12, 1955 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of Betty Brooks Everett and the late Vernon C. Everett. She was a graduate of Bath High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Beaufort County Community College. Terry was a residential counselor for the Beaufort County Developmental Center. She was a member of Athens Chapel Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Terri Cutler Brodnick and her husband, Tyler of Wake Forest, NC, Preston G. Cutler, Jr. and his wife, Stacy of Bath, NC, Sandy Kay Gant and her husband, Ryan of Jacksonville, NC, and Charlie Vernon Everett of Bath, NC; her mother, Betty Brooks Everett of Washington, NC; her twin brother, Jerry G. Everett of Pinetown, NC; and three grandchildren, MacKenzie Seiler, Payton Cutler and Addison Gant.
In addition to her father, Terry was preceded in death by one daughter Priscilla Cutler and one brother, Mike Everett.
