Mr. Garry Leon “Spoon” Thomas, 48, of 306 Madison St., Plymouth, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at 206 Middle St., Plymouth.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Second Zion Grove Baptist Church, with pastor Avery Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Second Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Thomas was born June 22, 1959, in Washington County. He was the son of Minnie Pearl Thomas, who survives, and the late Andrew Bell. He was a farmer.
Survivors include a son, Garry L. Thomas of Plymouth; three brothers, Frederick Thomas, James Thomas and Travis Thomas, all of Plymouth; four sisters, Wendy Thomas and Tonja McGahee, both of Plymouth, Marzetta Nicholson of Indianapolis and Cassandra Thomas of Brooklyn.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Toodle’s Funeral Home in Plymouth and other times at the home of his sister, Wendy Thomas, 123 Bradley Road, Plymouth.
Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
