Mrs. Judy Lane Harrison Overton, 59, of 1119 1/2 Broad St., Windsor, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, with the Rev. J.T. Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Overton was born in Hertford County on Dec. 19, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Minnie Pierce Harrison. She was married to Melvin Rogers Overton, who survives. She was a member of New Light House Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Elaine Overton of Windsor and Dale Overton Rivers of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; one son, Melvin R. Overton Jr. of Williamston; one brother, Robert Lee Harrison Jr. of West Edgecombe; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor and other times at the home.
