William Earl Heath Jr., 64, of New Bern, died December 1, 2007 at his residence.
He was born May 7, 1943 to William Earl Heath, Sr. and Mary Ensley Heath.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. William was an avid deer hunter who loved to hunt with his two grandsons. He retired from Cherry Point NADEP after 25 years of service.
William is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sylvia; two daughters, Jeanne Willis of New Bern and Kathy Scurlock and her husband John of Pollocksville; two grandsons, Allen Heath and Phillip (PJ) Willis, Jr. of New Bern; three sisters, Lorriane Clark of Vanceboro; Linda Taylor and her husband Lonnie of Chocowinity, and Carolyn Rowe and her husband David of Washington.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 3 from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m..
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 4 at 12:00 noon in Cotten Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made in his memory to The American Cancer Society, 903 B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
