Mr. Curtis Neal Sawyer, 50, of Williamston, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home, Williamston with pastor Jason Lineberger officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sawyer was born in Burlingame, Calif., on Oct. 2, 1957. He was the son of Nellie Faye Whitaker Sawyer of Everetts and the late Sylvester Nicholas Sawyer Sr. He was employed with White Heating and Air as a sheet metal worker. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla.
Survivors include one daughter, Aaron Carolynn Smith of Orange Park, Fla.; and two brothers, James A. Sawyer Sr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Sylvester Nicholas Sawyer Jr. of Middleburg, Fla.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and other times at the home.
