Mr. James Earl Chesson, 61, a resident of 151 Lois Lane, Plymouth, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Roper, with the Rev. Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery, Roper.
Mr. Chesson was the son of the late James Aubrey Chesson and Ludia Mae Norman Chesson.
Survivors include two sisters, Lula V. Downing of Amityville, N.Y., and Queenie Bell of Plymouth, and two brothers, Willie E. Chesson of Amityville, N.Y., and Lynwood E. Chesson of the home.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Simmons Funeral Service, Plymouth.
