Mrs. Erma Lee Selby Adams, 83, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, with the Rev. Chester Petteway officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born in Hyde County on Aug. 9, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Austin and Ollie Selby. She attended the Hyde County Schools. She was married to Sam Adams, who preceded her in death. She worked as a housekeeper until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce “Little Mama” Moore of Washington; a brother, Harold Selby of Norfolk, Va.; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Farrow and a brother, Elijah Selby.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 620 Respess St., Washington.
