Mrs. Fronie Buck Woolard, 83, of 148 Wharton Station Road, Washington, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Britthaven of Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington, with pastor Phillip Jethro officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Craven County on Nov. 15, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Robbie and Thelma Coward Buck. On June 18, 1946, she married Ottis Brown Woolard, who survives. She was a homemaker. She attended Alligood Church of God.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara W. Rose of Macclesfield; one son, Grover Ray Woolard of Greenville; one sister, Doris Toler of Washington; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington.
