Ms. Polly Grissom Shortridge, 61, of 316 NE 61st Street, Oak Island, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pamlico Memorial Gardens with D.J. Maxey officiating.
Ms. Shortridge was born in Beaufort County on Aug. 16, 1945, daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtie Edwards Grissom. She was a graduate of Chocowinity High School and was a former employee of the Washington Garment Factory.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Lewis of the home; one brother, Phillip Grissom of Chocowinity and two sisters, Peggy Leggett of Washington and Patsy Davis of Chocowinity,
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
