Mrs. Margaret Linton Paul, 86, of 4925 Sidney Road, Belhaven, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City.
A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday in the cemetery of Sidney Original Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. David Pooser officiating.
Mrs. Paul was born in Beaufort County on Nov. 5, 1921. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Davis Linton. She was married to Walton Earl Paul Sr., who preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1996. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sidney Original Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Paul of Suffolk and Walton Earl Paul Jr. of Hertford; two daughters, Margaret Ann Baker of Elizabeth City and Kay Paul Jennette of Scranton; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends today from 4-5 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Belhaven.
