Mrs. Hilda Jackson Wiggins

Mrs. Hilda Jackson Wiggins, age 84, of 400 Forest Hills Drive, Wilson and formerly of Richlands, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Old Ford Church of Christ with the Rev. Eddie Phoenix officiating.
Mrs. Wiggins was born April 4, 1923 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of the late Luke Jackson, Sr. and Betty Frances Ball Jackson. Mrs. Wiggins was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Washington High School. She was married to Charles D. Wiggins, who preceded her in death. In 1968, Mrs. Wiggins moved to Richlands and in 2004, she moved to Wilson. She was a member of Richlands Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Greg Scott and wife, Amy Wrenn of Wilmington; one daughter, Dee Johnson of Wilson; one sister, D. Ann Thompson of Washington; three grandchildren, Shannon Stapleton of Indianapolis, Dylan Scott and Chase Wrenn, both of Wilmington; and two great-grandchildren, Adam Merrill of Wilson and Allison Depew of Indianapolis.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wilmer Jackson and Luke Jackson, Jr. and two sisters, Doris Roach and Faye Jackson.
