Mr. Robert Lee Bame Jr., 57, of 204 N. Edgewood Ave., Williamston, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Bame was born in Wayne County on Jan. 30, 1951. He was the son of Helen Butner Bame of Pikeville and the late Rev. Robert Lee Bame. On Jan. 30, 2005, he married Alice Hollis Bame, who survives. He was a member of Goldsboro Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Bame of Raleigh; one son, Christian Bame of Raleigh; and one sister, Rebecca Davis of Pikeville.
The family will receive friends at the home.
