A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Dr. Michael Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace family cemetery, near Pinetown. Octavus Wallace, Ted Wallace, Brent White, Tim Woolard, Allen Woolard and David Mitchell will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Washington County on Sept. 25, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Bertha Hudson Respass. She graduated from Plymouth High School. She worked as a sale’s clerk in the boy’s department at Belks for more than 23 years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Washington.
Survivors include one son, Michael Allen Woolard of Charlotte; one daughter, Regina Ann Woolard of Wendell; two sisters, Doris McKeever of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Frances Williamson of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Thurman Respass, James Respass, Howard Respass and Gorman Britt.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington.
