Mr. James Oscar Roberson, 63, of View Nicholson Road, Williamston, died Saturday, April 26, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church, Williamston, with the Rev. Bobby Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery with Masonic rites.
Mr. Roberson was born in Martin County on Aug. 8, 1944. He was the son of Theodore and Magdelene Edwards Roberson. In November of 1967, he married Diana Sparrow Roberson, who survives. He worked in the shipping department of Weyerhaeuser. He was a member of Williamston Masonic Lodge No. 266. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Williamston.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Roberson and Mimi Graniero, both of Wilmington; and one brother, Paul Roberson of Williamston.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
