Mrs. Mable Marie Smith Daniels, age 54, a resident of 272 S. White Post Road, Pinetown, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008. at the Everetts Family Cemetery, North White Post Road, Pinetown, conducted by Dennis R. Davis.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Randy Smith, Derrick Speight, Asa Carowan, Gene Giles, Daniel Williams, Tim Dunn, Steven Maynardie and Henry Austin.
Mrs. Daniels was born in Beaufort County on September 10, 1953. She was the daughter of Geraldine Parnell Smith Houston and the late Jack Elmer Smith Sr. Mrs. Daniels was a homemaker. In 1972, she married Charlie Clayton Daniels, who survives.
Surviving with her husband are two sons, Charlie Clayton Daniels Jr. and Edward Ray Daniels, both of the home; her mother, Geraldine Parnell Smith Houston of Washington; a brother, Jack Elmer Smith Jr.; two sisters, Cynthia Ann Smith Carawan of Pantego, Teresa Lucille Smith of Wadsworth, Texas; and two grandchildren, Charlie Clayton Daniels III and Ashley Marie Daniels, both of Chocowinity.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home, 272 S. White Post Road, Pinetown.
