Mrs. Ann Furr Griggs, 79, of 1326 U.S. Highway 17 North, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at Three Rivers Nursing Home of Windsor.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in Edgewood Park Cemetery in Windsor with the Rev. Michael Bryant officiating.
Mrs. Griggs was born in Stanely County, daughter of the late Puehen and Pearl Braswell Furr. She was married to Robah Lee Griggs Jr., who preced her in death. She was a member of Merry Hill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one dughter, Linda Griggs Elliot of Macon; one brother, Bob Furr of Albemarle and one half-sister, Brenda Furr, also of Albemarle.
The family will receive friends at the home.
