Mrs. Valerie Cordon Scott, 71, originally of Bath, died Sunday, June 1, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in St. Clair’s Church of Christ, Bath, with Craig Hagen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Myrtle and Thad Cordon of the Burbage Crossroads community. She was married to Bryant W. Scott, who survives.
Survivors include one son, Todd S. Scott of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three sisters, Betty C. Barber and Maggie C. Credle, both of Bath, and Faye C. Allen of Winona.
The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Funeral Service, Washington. A visitation will also be held from 7-9 p.m., Friday at Kempsville Chapel of Smith and Williams Funeral Home in Virginia Beach, Va.
