Mrs. Myrtle Rich Harrison, 87, of 1028 Bull Hill Road, Windsor, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Brian Center in Windsor.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ross Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Mickey officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison was born June 21, 1920 in Jones County, daughter of the late Walter I. and Katie Smith Rich. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ross Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.
Survivors include her husband, Elton Harrison; one daughter, Iris H. Fisk of Windsor; one son, Ervin “Coon Dog” Harrison of Windor; two brothers, Melvin Rich of Deep Run and James Rich of Rockledge, Fla., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, J. E. Harrison.
