Mrs. Helen Hope Ball Brame Vick, 73, of 120 Manuel Drive, Washington, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington.
A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington, with pastor H.C. Potter officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington. Ronnie Payne Owens Jr., James Christopher Brame, Jason Lee Heath, Jeremey Sagon Warren, Mark Anthony Waters, Joseph Scott Vick and Robert Justin Vick will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Vick was born in Beaufort County on April 3, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Ball and Beaulah Mae Ball. She was married to Joseph Elliott Vick, who survives. She was a homemaker. She attended Grimesland Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include three sons, James Brame of Greenville, J.A. Vick of Simpson and Gary Vick of Washington; two daughters, Angela Heath of Simpson and Kathy Waters of Greenville; two sisters, Susie Harris and Beaulah Faye Woolard of Washington; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donnie Brame and two brothers, Clarence Ball and Jimmy Ball.
The family will receive friends today from 1-1:45 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home.
