PANTEGO - Mrs. Rosie Lee Credle Canady, 80, of 7399 Terra Ceia Road, Pantego, died at her home on Wednesday.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Antioch Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) in Pantego with Elder Mack Freshwater officiating. Burial will follow at Broad Creek Cemetery in Pantego.
Mrs. Canady was born January 25, 1928 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of the late Rissie Mae Slade Middleton and Jesse Credle. She graduated from Beaufort County High School. She was employed as a clerical technician with the employment office in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of Antioch Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and served on the mother board.
She was married to Howard Canady, who preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends at the home, 7399 Terra Ceia Road, Pantego.
Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m today at the Randolph Funeral Home Chapel, 219 North Bonner Street, Washington.
The body will be placed in the church 45 minutes before the funeral.
