Mrs. Annie Laura S. Fayton, 74, of 4140 Woodley Station Road, Creswell, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fayton was born in Washington County on June 23, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Estelle Webb and Wesley Swain. She was married to Wilbert Fayton, who survives. She was a domestic engineer.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Luster Jr. of Brick, N.J., and Gary Luster of Greenville; three daughters, Shirley Boone and Freida Luster, both of Richmond, Va., and Lorraine Luster of New York; six brothers, Herbert Swain of New Jersey and William Earl Swain, Robert Swain, Lorenzo Swain, Ronza Lee Swain and William Wesley Swain, all of Roper; four sisters, Shirley Nixon of Roper and Emma Kearney, Daisy King and Mildred Solomon, all of New Jersey; 21 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Columbia.
