Mr. Frederick Ford Sr., age 77, a resident of Bath NC, passed away Friday August 8, 2008 at his home with his family by his side, sending him off to charm the angels.
Fred was born in Richmond Virginia on January 5, 1931. The son of the late Richard and Emma Ford, he is survived by his wife Evy Ford, his siblings Katherine Hawkins, Oscar Ford, and Leon Ford, and his children, Dale Olsen, Meg Olsen, Marna Olsen, Fred Ford Jr., Kathy Hershey, and Robert Baker, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded by his brother Richard “Sonny” Ford.
He enjoyed time with family, his garden, cooking, gambling, and traveling whenever possible. A lover of all animals, he raised anything his children dragged home, including some of his own favorites, like show horses, and exotic birds.
He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
