Mr. Lewis “Lou” Beeman Brinn died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Community Presbyterian Church, Vacaville, Calif.
Mr. Brinn was born in Belhaven on Oct. 6, 1943. He was the son of Ruth Brinn of Belhaven and the late Burl Brinn Sr. He was married to Elaine Brinn, who survives. He was a 1962 graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School. He served four years in the Army.
Survivors include one son, Lewis Brinn of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Burl Brinn Jr. of Belhaven and Edward Brinn of Chesapeake, Va.; one sister, Mary Emily Brooks of Virginia Beach, Va.; three stepchildren, Christopher George of Rocklin, Calif., Elisabeth Gardner and Brittany George of Vacaville, Calif.; five grandchildren and stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Arrangements are by Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home.
