Mrs. Blanche O’Neal Woolard, 72, of 1180 Reddicks Grove Church Road, Williamston, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Gilbreath officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Martin County on July 1, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Chloie Williams O’Neal. On Jan. 28, 1952, she married Wiley Woolard, who preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1996. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Reddicks Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Woolard and Curtis Woolard, both of Williamston; one sister, Marie Barber of Williamston; one brother, Louie DeYoung of Maryland; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
