Mr. Carlos Rauschenbach

Mr. Carlos Rauschenbach, 29, of 265 Linville Gardens, Pinehurst, North Carolina, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A Mass of Resurrection will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with Father M. Arturo Cabra officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington.
Carlos was born February 8, 1979 in El Tigre, Venezuela. He was the son of Matthew Joseph Rauschenbach and Alba Nury Arroyave Rauschenbach. He was a resident of Beaufort County from 1985 to 1997. Carlos graduated from Washington High School in 1997. He attended East Carolina University and graduated from Campbell University with a degree in Professional Golf Management. He worked as an Assistant Golf Pro in Nags Head, NC, and Orlando, FL and most recently in Pinehurst, NC. He was a member of Mother of Mercy Catholic Church and the Pinehurst Resort. Carlos had a great passion for golf, UNC Tarheels Basketball and Carolina Panther Football.
Survivors include his parents, Matt and Alba Rauschenbach of Washington, NC; one step-brother, Brian Arthur Rauschenbach of Sumter, SC; paternal grandparents, William and Joan Rauschenbach of Pickens, SC; and maternal grandparents, Jorge and Amparo Arroyave of North Miami, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: The Washington High School Golf Team Foundation, C/O Washington High School, 400 Slatestone Road, Washington, NC 27889.
