Mr. Irwin Hughes Davis, 91, of the Bentonville community of Four Oaks, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Beasley family cemetery with the Revs. Jack Anglin and Jerry Burton officiating.
Mr. Davis was married to Pauline Beasley Davis, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Charles Irwin Davis of Bath; one brother, Bernice Davis of Eureka; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Libby Davis Yelverton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the graveside service.
Memorials may be made to the Pauline B. Davis Youth Camp Scholarship Fund at Mill Creek Church, 747 Mill Creek Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
