Mr. Manley Hartwell Byrum, 77, a resident of Three Rivers Nursing Home, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Riverside Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Woody Copeland officiating.
Mr. Byrum was born in Bertie County on Oct. 27, 1931. He was the son of the late Dossie Wuilliam and Martha Frances Byrum. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Viola B. Pierce of Windsor.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, 422 Bull Hill Road, Windsor.
