Mrs. Ella Louise Dixon Gay of 213 W. Seventh St., Washington, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Deeper Life Ministries with pastor William Guilford officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Gay was born Jan. 29, 1940, the daughter of the late James and Odell Carpenter Dixon. She attended P.S. Jones High School. She was married to Randall Gay Jr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of Deeper Life Ministries, where she was a Mother of the church.
Survivors include three daughters; three sons; one sister, Mozella Marshall of Winston-Salem; two brothers, William Dixon and James E. Dixon and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl Benson and Louise Dixon and two brothers, Gadis Dixon and Willie Dixon.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Deeper Life Ministries.
Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
