Peele’s 11 points leads the Panthers

YEATESVILLE — Trailing by 10 points heading into the fourth quarter, Terra Ceia couldn’t quite muster a comeback victory as it fell 64-42 to Northside in the fourth game of the Washington Daily News Holiday Invitational at Northside High School.
The Knights (NCISAA) put up a fight for four quarters against the Panthers (Atlantic Conference), but a 19-7 run by Northside in the last eight minutes proved to be the difference.
The Knights (1-11) were led by John Lilley’s team-high 10 points, while Hunter Davenport, Blake Butcher and Kiam Boerema each scored eight.
The Panthers (4-5), who along with the Knights, used every player on their roster and were led by Tony Peele’s 11 points. Kenneth Jenkins and Isaiah McCuller each chipped in 10.
After the game Panthers coach Mike Procter said he wasn’t pleased with is team’s intensity.
